Alternative Dispute Resolution / Mediation ServicesMark B. Anderson, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, earned his B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Naval Academy (1977). Following graduation, Mr. Anderson became a career submarine officer in the United States Navy, qualifying and serving as a nuclear engineer on Los Angeles and Trident class submarines. Mr. Anderson subsequently earned his J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law (1995 cum laude).
Mr. Anderson's practice primarily involves complex litigation matters, including real estate, business, estates, insurance, and personal injury and wrongful death claims. He represents both individuals and corporate clients regarding transactions and disputes in the areas of purchase, sale and development of real property. Mr. Anderson represents plaintiffs as well as defendants in matters of serious personal injury, wrongful death, automobile collisions, government liability, and product liability. He is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Washington and the State of Alaska, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington, and the U.S. District Court, District of Alaska.
Mr. Anderson is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Alaska Bar Association, the King County and Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Associations, and the Washington State Association for Justice. Mr. Anderson is actively involved in the community as a member of Rotary Club of Tacoma #8, as President of his homeowner’s association, and as a member of Breath of Aire, a faith-based choir that performs benefit concerts both locally and nationwide.
